Home / Information and Support / Outreach
The outreach work was started to provide women with more options to access the service. It provides the opportunity for you to get support while still living at home or in other accommodation, if refuge is not appropriate for you. The workers can support you by providing someone to talk to and support. We can also provide information about your legal rights, legal protection and safety planning, guidance on what other agencies offer, and provide details of an interpreter service if required.
Some women return home after living in a refuge, others are re-housed - whatever your situation, Clydebank Women's Aid can offer you on-going support. This practical help can range from support with filling in forms, accessing furniture, contacting local agencies and using our phone to contact utility suppliers.
Groupwork and Rolling programme
We facilitate a group for women who would like to meet up with other women going through similar experiences. This group offers opportunities to try different activities, learn new skills or just have some time to talk about some of the issues you have been dealing with other women. If you are interested in being involved in the group, please speak to one of the workers. You don't have to have lived in refuge or have been involved in groups before.
Outreach Drop in
We operate drop in from our office for women, children and young people. We can also provide other venues on request.
If you need particular arrangements, please phone the office on 0141 952 8118 or email us on collective.clydebankwa@gmail.com
